Alfred Jackson (born August 3, 1955 in Caldwell, Texas), is a former professional American football wide receiver who played 7 seasons in the National Football League for the Atlanta Falcons from 1978 to 1984.
Mr. Jackson is also the founding partner of the Inroads Group, Ltd. (which is the majority equity holder of Capital Point Partners), and serves as the firm's President and a member of the Investment Committee. Alfred has more than 25 years investment experience with money management firms serving Public Funds, Endowments, Foundations, and Taft-Hartley plans in the institutional marketplace. He spent 18 years as principal with Davis Hamilton Jackson and Associates (“DHJA”) , an institutional investment firm with more than $4 billion in assets under management, investing in public debt and equity securities. Prior to joining DHJA, Mr. Jackson was Vice President of the Institutional Fixed Income Division at Capital Municipal Securities in Austin, Texas. Mr. Jackson is a current Board Member of the University of Texas Advisory Board for the McCombs School of Business, the University of Texas Chancellor's Council, The Children's Museum of Houston, SEARCH, and a Trustee of the Houston Municipal Employees Pension System. Mr. Jackson received his B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
